Raise Funds for Collaroy Plateau Community Kindergarten
With Postcode Kids
Postcode Kids is about kids and their communities.
$5 from every Postcode Kids t-shirt goes directly to a local charity or community organisation, in this case to Collaroy Plateau Community Kindergarten
As parents we want our kids to be proud of where they live and to know other kids in their neighbourhood. We want them to understand that community involves supporting each other and that when communities come together they can really achieve great things.
By purchasing a Postcode Kids t-shirt with your postcode on it, you might be asked what charity or community organisation you are supporting. Not only will you be spreading the word about CPCK, you might you meet someone new in your neighbourhood, and you might also learn about local charities, sporting clubs or community organisations.
A Postcode Kids t-shirt says “I am proud of my community and I support my community”.

With the Triple P: Positive Parenting Program
Do you wonder what it would be like for family life to be less stressful and more fun, or do you worry about whether you’re giving your child the best start in life? The Accoras-run Triple P: Positive Parenting Program is here to help! We are working with Accoras to give our parents access to the online version of Triple P AND help raise money for Collaroy Plateau Community Kindergarten at the same time – each Triple P Online course purchased earns us $10!
Triple P Online is an easy-to-use 8 module parenting course for parents of kids aged 0 to 12 years. Each module only takes around 30-60 minutes to complete, so it’s great for parents who simply don’t have the time to attend a Triple P group due to work or family commitments – and you can do it at any time of the day or night! The modules are a fun, lively mix of video clips, worksheets and activities. You’re also able to sign up to receive podcasts, emails and text reminders to help them along the way.
Triple P Online is for all parents, whether you’re dealing with specific behavioural challenges, or if you’d just like to learn more about building positive family relationships, helping kids to be happy and confident and taking care of yourselves as parents.
To find out more about Triple P Online or to buy your course and help us fundraise, please visit http://www.accoras.com.au/page/services/Triple_P_Online/ and enter our unique code 10CC at the checkout.
As a community based not for profit kindergarten, we welcome parental involvement. We value the family and the community as partners in the education of young children and acknowledge parents and family members as each child’s first and most important teacher(s).
Families are invited to work in partnership with teachers and educators by … becoming a member on the Management Committee; talking to children about their day; reading newsletters; spending time at preschool; participating in fund raising and special events; making suggestions; joining in social events and working bees; reading and adding to their child’s portfolio with their child; lobbying politicians and local council and telling others about the many benefits their child gains from our Community preschool.
