Partnerships with parents

 As a community based not for profit kindergarten, we welcome parental involvement. We value the family and the community as partners in the education of young children and acknowledge parents and family members as each child’s first and most important teacher(s).

Families are invited to work in partnership with teachers and educators by … becoming a member on the Management Committee; talking to children about their day; reading newsletters; spending time at preschool; participating in fund raising and special events; making suggestions; joining in social events and working bees; reading and adding to their child’s portfolio with their child; lobbying politicians and local council and telling others about the many benefits their child gains from our Community preschool.
